For Sale at Amerhidl (Skoura oasis) ! (needs some work)
The oasis of Skoura's claim to fame is its long line of kasbahs along two seasonal rivers. Its appearance may be deceptive to many, being so long, it may recall images of a forest more than a huge oasis. Still it is even larger, most of the oasis runs north from the road.
The most impressive among the many attractive kasbahs is the Amerhidl, dating back to the 17th century. Its design and grand size made it fit to illustrate the back of the Moroccan 50 dirham note.
Happy Truck Thursday! I found this beast with military heritage and a "For Sale" sign sitting along the highway in North Dakota.
I'm still very much immersed in the process of closing on a house and preparing to move in. We hope to close and be in by October 19th.

Torre Maometto VI
La Torre Mohammed VI è un grattacielo di 55 piani e 250 metri nella città di Salé, al confine con Rabat.
Gli architetti della torre sono l'architetto spagnolo Rafael de la Hoz e l'architetto marocchino Hakim Benjelloun.
È progettato per essere visibile da una distanza di 50 chilometri tutt'intorno.
Con 55 piani, comprenderà un hotel di lusso, uffici, appartamenti di fascia alta e un osservatorio situato in cima alla torre.
La facciata sud della torre ospita pannelli fotovoltaici.
Mohammed VI Tower
The Mohammed VI Tower a 55 story, 250m skyscraper in the city of Salé, bordering Rabat.
The architects of the tower are Spanish architect Rafael de la Hoz and Moroccan architect Hakim Benjelloun.
It is designed to be visible from a distance of 50 kilometers all around.
With 55 floors, it will include a luxury hotel, offices, high-end apartments and an observatory located at the top of the tower.
The south facade of the tower houses photovoltaic panels.

What I liked about traveling with my friend is that she is Fearless, whether it was driving one lane mountain roads or stopping and exploring a property! This little church caught our eye and it's for sale too! Wouldn't it make a neat house? I thought the windows were broken out but actually they are like a dark leaded glass and most of them were covered to protect them. In later research I did find out that this was the Ellisville Methodist Church and that it has been unused for 20 years, but I couldn't find any info on when it was built.
went to another killer estate sale....I got all this(plus a few other things) all for $38....there is a killer 30s hatbox and a pair of 40s alligator platforms...some kneehuggers...vintage paper dolls....pearl collar killer 50s little girls horse head(needs a stick)....so much great stuff
Purchased new candles today for next year to go in the candle chime, smokeless candles so the brass angles will not tarnish as bad hopefully.

The Glenburn hotel in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute has been put up for sale after being placed into administration in August.
The 134-bedroom property, which was built in 1843 as Scotland's first ‘hydropathic hotel', has an asking price of offers over £1.1m.
What a stunning building. I do hope someone buys it and it continues as a hotel.
